If you live in a warm and humid climate, for example, you may find metal sheeting (with no plywood base) to be a great chicken coop roof. After the initial installation, concrete is low maintenance, does not rot like wood floors, and can take plenty of abuse without consequence. So what will happen to your chickens in these cases?
